Taylor, IAE (614) 871-1023 tctaylor@mac.com CPM Capstone Track    *** Please note if we don’t have enough interest in this tract then it will be cancelled.  Date of Course Nov. 29 - Dec. 3, 2010  Day of Week Monday to Friday  Location Columbus, OH.  Registration   Description Quickly and efficiently complete the final steps needed to earn your CPM designation by enrolling in the CPM Capstone Track. This track is designed for CPM Candidates who need to complete the management plan and CPM Certification Exam requirements. The first four days are spent learning the essential components of a property management plan, followed by completing the “Management Plan Skills Assessment” (MPSAXM) to demonstrate proficiency. The track concludes by preparing for the taking the CPM Certification Exam. Management Plan Skills Assessment (MPSAXM) The MPSAXM is designed to assess a student’s knowledge of the concepts, technical skills, and processes involved in preparing, analyzing, and completing a property management plan. It is completed in a classroom setting and includes an exam component that requires written responses to management scenarios based on a property type of your own choosing. The exam may be completed electronically or in a paper-based format during the four-day offering. Students must comply with specific guidelines and pre-course requirements prior to being able to complete the electronic version. Note: Students must complete specific requirements for the electronic version of the MPSAXM no later than ten (10) business days prior to the offering start date. This includes: (1) downloading and reviewing a non-facilitated self-guided overview of the MPSA process from the IREM Web site or attending a webinar offered by IREM Headquarters and (2) accessing and completing technical requirements and a software compatibility test (SCT) via laptop. Completion of the SCT allows you access to complete the actual electronic exam during the MPSAXM. Students who have not completed the requirements WILL NOT be allowed to complete the electronic version of the MPSA exam. There are no exceptions. HP10BII Financial Calculator Required: The HP10BII financial calculator is required for the MPSAXM. Materials illustrate keystrokes for this calculator only. Students taking MPSAXM are expected to have a working knowledge of the basic operations and functionality of the calculator. Students are encouraged to download the “HP10BII Financial Calculator Quick Reference Guide” and review it prior to taking MPSAXM. CPM Certification Exam Preparation Course (CPM001) Ensure your best performance on the CPM Certification Exam with this comprehensive review. If you have fulfilled your education requirement for the CPM designation, take advantage of this great opportunity to refresh your knowledge, have final questions answered, network with fellow Candidates, and prepare yourself to pass the exam successfully. CPM Certification EXAM (CPMEXM) The CPM Certification Exam tests all that you have learned through your education and experience in real estate management and ensures the integrity of the CPM designation. If you have completed the education requirement for the CPM designation, you are ready to take the CPM Certification Exam. The exam is offered both in the classroom and independently with a local proctor, so you have the flexibility to take the exam in the format that best suits their schedule.
